Our product is made from foods that are grown organically using the purest forms of water, harvested at the right time, juiced, collected, and kept in a living state in their entire form.
Think of something like calcium. If we wanted to get calcium from dark greens like spinach or broccoli, we would have to plant them and grow them over a period of time using good soil and good water. Then we’d harvest them, juice them, collect them, and dehydrate them. Compare that to getting calcium from limestone, where we could just take stone, powder it up, and put it in a pill.
One form requires a lot more work. It takes time and effort, being accurate when we harvest, and making sure it’s processed immediately once it’s collected, so we can keep it in as good of a living state as possible, in all of its complexity.
This is very important, because when you have a living food, it’s ready to go. You ingest it, and it goes right where it needs to and starts doing what it’s supposed to do.
Something powdered from limestone is dead. It’s a non-living form. It’s still calcium, just a different form. The body has to take it in and use other components within itself to bring it to a living state. Only then can the body absorb it, transport it, and take it up into the cell to make it work, and all of that has to happen in a certain amount of time before it’s excreted from our bodies.
So the success rate of daily use of a vitamin that comes from whole foods, grown properly, harvested at the right time, juiced, and put into a stable state, is much different than getting a powder from a rock or some other inorganic substance that isn’t in a living state.
As far as what we can expect in terms of health outcomes, one is that it acts very quickly. It goes in and makes changes in the whole system, because it’s in its complex form. It doesn’t just go to one area. Every nutrient works on multiple layers within the body. A nutrient from an inorganic, non-living source will still do those things, but only if the body has enough time to convert it into something it can use.
Our vitamin, Thrive, is a collection of different foods, many of them superfoods, that are grown properly, harvested, and juiced together into one formula.
As a doctor, I would say the magic happens when you choose a living food in its complexity. It gets absorbed immediately and goes to every different system: your autonomic nervous system, your digestive system, your hormonal systems, your immune system. It understands what it needs to do because it’s complex, and it has all the components required for that nutrient to be used by the body.
When it’s not complex, the body has to go through an unbelievable amount of work and start bringing in nutrients from other areas.
Understand this one thing: if you continuously put something inorganic into your body, and your diet isn’t perfect every day, your body has to rob some of its reserves to balance that out, activate it, and make it work. In the beginning, when the reserves are there, you may feel slightly better. But over time, when you continuously rob the body to activate something and make it work, you create a deficiency. Eventually, the nutrient you’re taking to help you can actually cause you trouble.
